In celebration of Brooklyn not being sick we decided to head to the beach! We didn't really go to the beach, it is actually a back bay. It is the "beach" i grew up at and it is so much fun to be able to bring Brooklyn there! We had so much fun. When we first arrived we were the only ones there which i selfishly enjoyed. Brooklyn and i were able to do the silly things that we normally do. We made sandcastles, which Brooklyn was really excited about. We bring our sand toys to the parks all the time and Brooklyn has gotten really good at filling the buckets with her shovel. But we have never been able to build sandcastles because of the lack of water. Brooklyn quickly figured out how to do it herself. When we first arrived Brooklyn was so excited about the mass amount of sand that she didn't even realize the water, but when she finally did she was so excited. Without hesitation Brooklyn ran straight in. I had a really hard time peeling her way from to water to leave. I cant wait for our next beach trip!
I feel so fortunate to be able to spend this time with my baby. She is such a smart and wonderful baby to be around and i thank God for giving us the Good Life!

How sweet! How wonderful that Brooklyn isn't sick. How exciting that she has four new teeth. And how neat that you could go to the beach today! Today is a blustery day for us. But it is still fun nonetheless. Hallie has reached such a sweet, docile stage again now that she can talk so well. It is so fun! Wish we could play with you everyday.
I certainly dont know any other 17 month olds who can make sandcastles... Brooklyn is basically a genius. A really cute redheaded genius!
