Emma's 1st Birthday

Brooklyn's cousin had her first birthday party. We had so much fun bouncing in the bounce house, snacking and hitting the pinata! Emma was so cute dressed in her poofy pink dress. Emma just started walking so Brooklyn and her had a good time following each other around. There a lot of firsts for Brooklyn that day. It was her first time in a bounce house, there were a lot of kids in there so she only enjoyed it if i was holding her. She was so cute the higher we bounced the harder she laughed! She got her first ride on a quad, she was horrified as was I. When it came to pinata time Emma got the first hit and next in line was Brooklyn and to my complete surprise Brooklyn walked right up to the pinata with the bat and started hitting it! She knew exactly what to do! When one of the older kids broke it open and all the other kids ran over to collect the candy Brooklyn followed and again figured it out quickly. She picked up as much candy as her little hands could hold! We had so much fun. I was able to see 2 of my cousins that i hadn't seen in about 8 years. They were just little boys then and have now turned into men. It was a fabulous day!
