Disneyland

We went to Disneyland last week. Brooklyn wasnt quite in the "disneyland" mood, so we didnt have the best time in the world. All she wanted to do is play in the water! Here are some pics from the day.

So i figured out that my camera takes video...only 1 1/2 years later! Here is Brooklyn and i outside today trying to fight off the 95 degree weather.

reason # 101 why you dont shop for bathing suits with a child

So i decided that the time had come to purchase a new bathing suit. I load up the child and head off to Walmart. For all of you who know Walmart know that the dressing rooms are smack in the middle of the store, meaning shoppers can see you as you come in and out of you dressing room...i think you can see where i am going with this.....So i am stripped down to only my underwear (no bra) when Brooklyn swings open the dressing room door and runs out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what did i do you ask.................................i stand there completely naked with at least 15 shoppers looking at me trying desperately to cover my large boobs and screaming "Oh my god!" So some kind lady grabs Brooklyn for me and brings her back into the dressing room, smiles and says don't worry i am a mom too and we have all been there! I basically wanted to die!

Brooklyn built and played in her first fort today.

2 silly things you can see in the pictures

1. The things on her face are stickers. I bought her stickers to put on paper and her hands but she decided that she likes them best on her face. When it falls off she sticks it back on her face.

2. You can also see in the picture that her baby minnie mouse is wearing a diaper. One day she walked up to me and held minnie up to me and said "poopoo" so i asked if minnie needed to sit on the potty. Brooklyn then ran into her room and grabbed a diaper and tried to put it on minnie. So ever since than minnie has worn a diaper. That minnie is the only baby that she doesnt sit on the potty.

Brooklyn's new thing this week is showing her babies how to go poopoo and peepee on the potty. I will hear her say "baby poopoo" as she is taking her babies into the bathroom and putting them on the potty! She is so precious

first sentance...well kinda

Last night i was cleaning out the litter box and Brooklyn was sitting next to me saying "ewwww poopoo". After a few seconds she gets up and walks into my Moms room and says "momma kitty poopoo" in a very disgusted voice! Well there you have it, Brooklyn's first sentance and its all about poop!

water world

OK, so i said i was going to wait till next week to buy a pool but today was just too hot to be without a pool. I had been looking for the last couple weeks at toddler pools and this one was by far the best!!!!! It has 2 pools and a slide...how could i say no?

To fight off the heat today we first went to the beach for a few hours then off to the store to buy a pool. Our backyard is now a water world. Brooklyn only took 2- 1 hour naps today and the rest of the time was spent in the pool, playing with the water table or running through the sprinklers. Needless to say we are 2 tired girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
