The happiest place on earth!

I have never truly understood the saying "seeing things through a childs eyes," until today! I finally took Brooklyn to Disneyland and it was one of the best days of my life!!!!! Watching Brooklyns eyes light up with wonder and excitment filled my heart with so much joy! Some of my fondest memories in my life have happened at disnyland. Disneyland is where i met some of my best friends, spent majority of my teenage life, met and fell in love with Steve! Bringing Brooklyn there and watching her feel the magic that is Disneyland makes me see Disneyland in a whole new light. This year is going to be full of magic...

Attack of the redhead!

Brooklyn and I went to visit my work. The highlight for Brooklyn was petting my bosses dog "bud"! We talked to the tigers and tweeted to the macaws. It was a nice day!

Emma's 1st Birthday

Brooklyn's cousin had her first birthday party. We had so much fun bouncing in the bounce house, snacking and hitting the pinata! Emma was so cute dressed in her poofy pink dress. Emma just started walking so Brooklyn and her had a good time following each other around. There a lot of firsts for Brooklyn that day. It was her first time in a bounce house, there were a lot of kids in there so she only enjoyed it if i was holding her. She was so cute the higher we bounced the harder she laughed! She got her first ride on a quad, she was horrified as was I. When it came to pinata time Emma got the first hit and next in line was Brooklyn and to my complete surprise Brooklyn walked right up to the pinata with the bat and started hitting it! She knew exactly what to do! When one of the older kids broke it open and all the other kids ran over to collect the candy Brooklyn followed and again figured it out quickly. She picked up as much candy as her little hands could hold! We had so much fun. I was able to see 2 of my cousins that i hadn't seen in about 8 years. They were just little boys then and have now turned into men. It was a fabulous day!

It was a beautiful day the sun was out and you could feel the love in the air. Nikole looked stunning and the venue looked amazing. The ceremony was emotional, and the reception was great party. I cant believe my friend is married...

summer day

It was 76 degrees today so Brooklyn and i decided to hit the park! Brooklyn has has mastered climbing the jungle gyn and insists in going down the slide herself. Brooklyn definitly got her dads love of climbing, she can climb ladders and today she climbed up on the pool fence to get a better look at the ducks. Because it was so hot we even stopped at DQ for a little ice cream! What a fantastic day!

We found Atlantis

It was such a beautiful day so we decided to venture out. We decided to take Aunt T to Atlantis park and boy did we have fun!!! Brooklyn had a blast picking up leaves, climbing the jungle gym, going down the slides, playing with the other children and having a picnic. Here are just a few pictures from today!

Brooklyn just cracks me up with her sense of style. She just adores wearing crowns, scarfs, hats, necklaces, earrings and sunglasses. At almost every hour of the day Brooklyn has added a new accessory to her outfit. It is the funniest thing, she will walk up to me holding something and i will ask her wear i should put it and she always points to the right place. I might have a fashion expert on my hands!
